Provide examples of scenes from Films or Animations that have evoked a sad emotional response for you personally.
Give two examples from early memory. Describe and compare your response to them then and now
Also provide two examples from recent memory.
A movie that really brought me to tears during my early memory was A walk to Remember (2002), it taught me the value of having parents when Landon found out that his dad was paying for Jamie's private home care.
Another movie that evoked a sad emotion in me was The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). The scene where Charlie had a mental breakdown and actually slowly reveals what he went through growing up.
Two animations that also evoked a sad emotion in me was Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda (The Anthem of the Heart) [2015] and Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name) [2016]. Both of this animation had a really good storyline and was built up perfectly.
